Garren's accident in childcare~

Garren have this accident at school yesterday. According to the teacher, while they are being brought to toilet together, my boi walk away when the teacher did not notice and he went to play with the fire extinguisher hanging on the wall near the toilet. The fire extinguisher got unhook and dropped on his feet, hurting his last toe on the right leg. They immediately brought him to the nearby clinic and the doctor say the toe was very swollen but cannot be sure if the bone is fracture or broken. He suggested them to brim him to hospital for a X-ray.
Then the teacher inform me after they brought him to the clinic. They ask me whether I'm ok if they brim him to the hospital. I say its better to have a full checkup since the clinic doctor cant confirm his toe is really ok. So they brought him tot NUH for a X-ray. I was on my way to fetch Belle that time.
They come back very late. He reach home around 9pm. When i saw his toe, its seems ok, just swollen and the doctor oso say that he DOESNT have fracture or broken bone. Until now the swollen was still there.




Then today I put him and zhu zhu to childcare since he still can walk and he seems not in pain. I went to work.
Around 10am+, NUH called me and told me to brim him down for a bandage cos the bone specialist saw a slight crack on his toe after a close check on the X-ray. I was shocked and worried. I told my colleague and she told me to go. So I told my boss I need to take urgent leave. I rushed back home to fetch him to the hospital.
I told my mum and she was very angry and keep nagging how come ended up like tis when the teacher say he is ok yesterday. I say I dunno.
So I ask the doctor how come yesterday they say he is ok. They told me that kids bone are veri small, especially the toes. So the slight crack is veri hard to notice.

Actually I dont really blame the school as I understand that my Garren is a sotong boy. His hands and feets are always busy touching and running. But I dont understand why the fire extinguisher is not box up since its a place with so many kids. Even if it din happen on my boi, one day sure got other children got into accident with it. Although Im a good temper person but I really think the school need to revise on the safety for kids in the school. My 2 bois got accidents happen in school. They still got a few years before they graduate from it. Then how was I able to rest my mind for their safety in school???
